Most of you might have heard from your seniors and friends that majority of questions in KEAM come repeated every year. It is true. So, the best way to crack KEAM is to simply solve previous papers.
KEAM gives 50:50 weightage for Boards and the Entrance Exam.
The entrance exam consists of 2 papers with 240 questions and 4 marks for each correct answer and -1 for every wrong answer.
Paper 1: Physics (72 questions) and Chemistry(48 questions)
Paper 2: Maths (120 questions)
Generally, if you score around 650/960 in KEAM Engineering and get excellent marks in board exam, you get a rank close to 600 which may fetch you any college and course you desire under KEAM (Generally).
I have personally found doing previous year papers for KEAM very useful for scoring high because I could tick some of the answers immediately.
It's quite shocking but true that repeated questions even come for Math paper.
Arihant's Solved Papers Kerala CEE Engineering is possibly the best in market for Kerala Entrance right now. This year, they have included papers from 2002 to 2017. Solving this book will surely give you a huge edge.
